With three labs and a rottweiler, dog hair is a continuing problem. Between the Furminator and this vacuum, I’m able to keep it manageable. The vacuum has great suction, really picks up the dog hair and has a very large dust cup, which is easy to empty. The paper filter is extremely sturdy and collects quite a bit of dust and dirt. As with all vacuums, suction is key. To keep the powerful suction at optimal level, I frequently empty to the dust cup then my husband blows out all of the dust and dirt with his compressor hose. Have owned this vacuum for 2+ years with no problems and would purchase again. Quality unit that can be bought for less than Amazon offers, with free shipping. You’ll be pleased with this vacuum especially when you see how nice your carpet looks after you’re done!
